23년 11월 21일자로 UNIST 원격수업위원회에 학생대표 배석이 완료되어 공유드립니다. (추가 원규 반영절차 필요 / 교무처 심의 완료) (개정 예정인 수업운영지침 별도 첨부)
원내 위원회 배석 확대는 UNIST 학부 총학생회가 장기적으로 가져가기 좋은 전략의 일환입니다. 기존에는 불가능하였던 군휴학생들의 강의 수강 가능성에 대해 논의할 수 있으며, 비전임교원의 경우 온라인 강의 개설이 가능하다는 점을 들어 현재 원내에 부족한 강의 유형을 보완할 수 있을 것으로 파악하고 있습니다. 해당 맥락에 덧붙여 현재 장기간 원활한 운영이 이루어지지 않는 제2외국어 강좌에 대한 원론적인 판단(졸업요건 유지 논의), 그리고 군복학자를 대상으로 AU 의무 지급 등을 담론으로 가져갈 수 있을것으로 보입니다.
UNIST 학부 총학생회 차원의 원내 위원회 추가배석 전략은 여기서 그치지 않고, 다가오는 12월 평의원회를 통해 공간조정위원회를 포함한 원내 17개 위원회에 학부생 및 대학원생 대표를 배석하는 제안안을 제시할 예정입니다. 학생을 대표하여 본부에 목소리를 관철시키기 위해서는 본부 운영에 있어 원활한 참정이 보장되어야 합니다. 해당 기반을 확실히 닦을 수 있도록 계속해서 노력하도록 하겠습니다.

As of November 21, the student representative attendance for the UNIST Remote Learning Committee has been completed and is shared. (Additional procedures for reflecting regulations are required / Approved by the Department of Academic Affairs)
The expansion of student representation in internal committees is part of a long-term strategy by the UNIST Undergraduate Student Council. This allows for discussions on the possibility of lectures for military reserve students, which was previously not feasible. Additionally, considering that non-tenure-track faculty can conduct online classes, this initiative aims to address the current shortage of certain types of courses within the university. In this context, there is an understanding that a fundamental assessment of second language courses that have not been smoothly operated for an extended period and discourse on mandatory AU payments for military veteran students could be carried out.
The strategy of adding student representatives to internal committees at the UNIST Undergraduate Student Council level does not stop here. In the upcoming December Plenary Council, a proposal will be presented to seat undergraduate and graduate student representatives in all 17 internal committees, including the Space Adjustment Committee. Ensuring student representation in the operation of the university is crucial to voicing student concerns effectively. We will continue to make efforts to strengthen this foundation.
