UNIST 학부 총학생회 임시중앙집행위원회 학사국입니다.
지난 3월 20일 ~ 26일, 7일 간 시행했던 재수강제도 개편방안 구체화 설문의 결과 보고와 함께, 추려진 담론을 학우분들께 공유드립니다.
설문 수합 내용은 국서 내부 심의를 거쳐 보고서 작성에 반영되었으며,
- 재수강과 관련하여 기초과목 쏠림 현상 등의 양상과
- 학생 개개인의 재수강 취지와 이어지는 응답 표본 내 주요 담론,
- 추려진 개편방안에 대한 학생 선호도 분포,
- 이에 따른 정책 수립에 대한 방향성
- 기타 논의가 필요한 담론
을 UNIST 본부 내 학사 관련 부서에 제시하였습니다.
학우들 사이, 재수강제도 개편을 바라보는 다양한 시각이 있음을 인지하고 있습니다. 활발하고 건설적인 논의가 이루어지기 위해서는 많은 의견 제시가 필요한 가운데, 현재와 같이 활발하게 제시해 주시는 의견들에 감사드립니다.
다만 맹목적인 담론 형성, 그로 인해 감정 소모성 갈등 조장으로의 그릇된 방향성 설립이 우려되었던 것도 사실입니다. '예/아니오'로 양분되는 논제보다는, 학우들의 생각을 가능한 많이 수반할 수 있는 형태를 바라보는 업무를 이번 년도 동안 진행하려 합니다. 그렇기에, 현재 업무 추진방향과 단순히 제도 개편에 있어 확정적 결론을 내고자 하는 의도와는 거리가 멀다는 점을 이번 공지를 빌려 말씀드립니다.
'제도 개편' 자체를 바라볼 때, 각 이해 당사자 사이의 정보 균등 분배가 중요하다 판단, 그런 분위기 아래 논의를 펼치기 위한 담론 형성에 주력하였습니다. 이제껏 2차례 설문을 통해, 재수강제도를 둘러싼 분위기가 어떠한 것인지 파악하고 이를 학우 여러분께 전달하여 다양한 의견 기조형성을 이끄는 데 집중하였습니다.
첨부한 파일은 교내 부서에 전달한 파일과 동일합니다.
그렇기에, 다시 한번 강조드립니다.
정책 개편에 여러분의 목소리를 반영하기 위해서는 많은 참여가 필요합니다.

Dear all,
This is Bureau of Academic Affairs at UNIST USC.
The result of the survey to specify strategies in redesigning course re-take policy was reported and derived discourses were shared, which had been held in Mar 20 ~ 26.
The survey results were reflected and written in the report after internal deliberations, which included:
- current aspects with respect to course re-take such as weighed selection to basic courses.
- major discourses inside the samples derived from thoughts about the purports and objects of course re-take
- distribution of student preference on regulations on redesigning the policy
- direction of policy redesign
- other discourse
The report was sent to UNIST Administer of Academic Affairs.
We recognize that various sights and opinions are present regarding the topic. While a lot of suggestions are needed to conduct an active and constructive discussion, we appreciate your opinions.
However, it is concerned that unconditional debate leads people to make emotion-consuming conflicts, resulting in the wrong direction of the discussion. We are working for as many thoughts as possible to be reflected in this year, rather than nonproductive fight. Therefore, we would like to tell you that it is far from our actual intention to decide simply whether yes or no.
Focusing on 'redesigning the policy', we conclude that it is important to share the relevant information equally among people involved in the topic. Through two surveys so far, we have concentrated on understanding the atmosphere surrounding the current course re-take system and delivering it to you to lead various viewpoints to form.
The attached file is the same as the one sent to the Administer.
Thus, I emphasize once again.
